As preparations for National Epilepsy Week continue to build, Young Epilepsy have announced the launch of a brand new online guide for schools, which will help teachers to better support young people with epilepsy in their care.
People who have both autism and epilepsy face some of the starkest inequalities in the world. We know that worldwide approximately 8.4 million people have both conditions. On average, they have poor quality of life, poor health and die early. Research into the relationships and interactions of the these conditions is vital to early diagnosis, early intervention and ultimately, improving lives.
The unique research collaboration aims to improve epilepsy treatment for young people by addressing the causes, prevention and clinical management of childhood epilepsies.
St Piers School and College are proud to be working with AET to deliver the AET post 16 programme in West Sussex and Kent.
Young Epilepsy have recently been working alongside Emmerdale on Liv's epilepsy storyline, to raise awareness of how epilepsy affects young people.
