The fundraising pack includes a variety of activities designed to educate and engage students.

Easy ways to take part and raise funds include hosting a purple-themed non-uniform day, holding a purple bake sale or whatever your creative and compassionate students decide upon– you can raise funds and make a difference!

She [Daisy] told her teachers about her challenge and they arranged classroom activities for Purple Day.
Daisy even stood up in Assembly and answered questions from her school friends which meant she had the opportunity to open up.

Make a difference

Every penny raised for Purple Day goes towards supporting children with epilepsy. Your participation can help fund vital research, provide support services, and raise awareness.

Why Get Involved?

In our 2023 survey report young people with epilepsy, and their parents, told us about their experiences of epilepsy support at school.

  • 1 in 3

children with epilepsy do not get the support they need at school

They are unnecessarily missing out on their childhood and their futures are being put at risk, because people don’t understand epilepsy and how it can be different for everyone.

  • 1/3

of school staff feel confident managing a seizure in a classroom

This highlights the need for better education and training to ensure the safety and well-being of students with epilepsy.

  • 42%

of people with epilepsy age 16-59 are unemployed

This shows that we need to create more job opportunities and support for people with epilepsy to help them find work.

Fundraising for young people

SuperKind is the world's only fundraising platform for young people. It can legally be used by children under 16, alongside their schools. It's all about putting the power (and fun!) in the hands of kids.
