Living with epilepsy can be challenging. Our support groups are here to help.
Our 'Epilepsy and me' support groups provide a safe space where you can ask questions, share experiences, learn new strategies, and get the support you need. You’ll also get the chance to connect with other young people who understand what you're going through.
We offer monthly remote-based sessions, focused specifically on epilepsy. These sessions are designed as a support group for sharing stories and finding community, with 8-10 attendees per session.

If you would like a break from epilepsy, and just want to hang out with other young people who get it, try our Virtual Youth Groups.
If you join our youngest group, aged 8-10, your parents will be able to attend with you as observers, allowing them to see things through your eyes. These sessions focus on understanding epilepsy and provide a safe space for you to ask questions and express your experiences.
Things to know:
For those of you who are a bit older, aged 11-15, these sessions will focus on independence, school, and friendships. You'll get the support you need to navigate these common themes while building a strong community.
Things to know:
These sessions are suitable for you if you’re between the ages of 16-18, and aim to address current and future aspirations around careers, driving, dating, and transitioning into adulthood, with guidance from our experienced Youth Support team.
Things to know:
We split the groups by age so that the help you get is just right for you and your friends. This way, you can talk about things that matter to you and share your stories. By focusing on what each age group needs, we can give better support and help everyone feel more connected.
It can often feel like a very lonely path. I hope that by sharing our epilepsy journey, we can help other young people and parents feel less alone.Parent
