Health services

Young Epilepsy's health and research centre is a diagnostic, rehabilitation and behavioural assessment unit in the UK specialising in in-patient and out-patient services for children and young people with epilepsy.

Our health centre offers modern epilepsy diagnosis services (EEG, in-patient and home video telemetry), as well as rehabilitation and behavioural assessment. The centre is easily accessible by car from the M25 and by train from London Victoria.

We understand that epilepsy can affect a child or young person physically and that epileptic seizures can be difficult to treat. We know that epilepsy and related conditions can have an impact on behaviour, family and emotional life, education and the ability to communicate. That’s why we always put children and young people at the centre of our work, to improve research, diagnosis, treatment and practical support for the effects of epilepsy on everyday life.

We take a holistic approach, involving pre-assessments in which we get to know them as individuals, personalised plans, detailed reports and, where needed, follow-up care.

Find out more on the pages below about all of the services we offer at the health and reserach centre, including multidisciplinary team members, referral and diagnostic process.
