Peerage for Jane Ramsey

Jane Ramsey, Young Epilepsy Chair of Trustees, has been named on the 2024 list of political peerages

The Prime Minister's Office has recently announced that Jane Ramsey is to have a peerage conferred by His Majesty The King.

Jane has served as Chair of Trustees for Young Epilepsy since 2016 and has a wealth of leadership experience, gained in a wide range of organisations.

Before joining us, Jane was Chair of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and previously, Vice Chair of University College London Hospitals. She has served on the Council of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the Department of Health Audit and Risk Committee, chaired a local Housing Association and has been Head of Law for two London boroughs.

She was a member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life from 2016 to 2020 and has also been a Senior Advisor on Standards and Ethics to the Labour Party.

Jane has made a huge contribution to public life across her many roles and will no doubt bring that rich experience to the House of Lords. We are so proud and pleased for her.
