Young Epilepsy announces new Chief Executive

Mark joins on Monday 7 January 2019 and replaces Carol Long, who is leaving after nearly five years at the helm of the UK charity.

Mark has a wealth of experience in the charity and healthcare sectors, having most recently served as Chief Operating Officer with UNICEF UK for the last four years.

Jane Ramsey, Chair of Trustees at Young Epilepsy, says:

I am delighted to welcome Mark. I am confident that he will further build on the considerable progress made by Young Epilepsy in improving the lives of children and young people with epilepsy in the UK. His experience will be a real asset in developing our ambitious strategy.

Mark Devlin says:

I believe that Young Epilepsy is an amazing organisation with a unique specialist profile and the potential to help more children and young people to lead the happy, healthy and fulfilled lives they and their families wish for. I look forward to working with new colleagues, young people, parents, supporters, trustees and partners to achieve that greater impact together.
