Young Epilepsy has a number of charity places available for the unique Saturday race in 2027, each with a minimum fundraising target. By running for us, you'll be making a huge impact on the lives of young people with epilepsy.

As part of the team, you'll also receive expert training support from Rory Coleman, one of the UK's leading marathon and ultra-marathon coaches, through training advice, guidance and exclusive webinars to help you prepare for race day.
Ballot Places
If you’ve secured your own place through the ballot and would like to run in support of Young Epilepsy, we’d love to have you on our team! Let us know by emailing events@youngepilepsy.org.uk and we’ll support you every step of the way.
How we support you

- Personal contact from our events team to support you through your fundraising and challenge journey
- An introduction on request to your fellow participants, who will go with you on the fundraising and event journey
How the money you raise helps
- £30 could fund one hour of personalised support to assist a child or young person manage their anxieties and fears related to epilepsy.
- £150 could provide epilepsy awareness training for school staff to ensure their students with epilepsy are better included in the classroom.
- £300 could fund a training session for 20 young people with epilepsy to develop their confidence and communication skills, helping them to advocate for themselves and others.
- £1,000 could fund a webinar for researchers, families and health professionals to share our exciting research results and improve understanding of the causes, treatments and impact of epilepsy.
