Help us create a new mascot for Young Epilepsy
We’re inviting children to share their ideas for a friendly, memorable purple animal that could become our new mascot. It could be a drawing, a model, a computer design or even a story - however you want to bring your idea to life.
What should your mascot be like?
Think about what kind of animal it should be, what it should be called and what makes it special. Your mascot should be friendly, easy to recognise and mostly purple. It should also be simple enough to become a costume that could visit events and meet children and families.
How to take part
- Download and complete the mascot competition worksheet and entry form.
- Tell us about your mascot, including its name, personality and any special features.
- Ask a parent, carer, teacher or group leader to complete the permission details.
- Send your completed entry to us by 1 December 2026 to communications@youngepilepsy.org.uk
What happens next?
The strongest ideas, names and features may be adapted or combined by a professional designer to create the final mascot. This means the finished character may not look exactly like one entry, but children’s ideas will help shape it.
Children may also have the chance to share feedback on the final concepts. Winners or selected entrants will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to children and young people up to 25 . Entries can be completed at home, at school or as part of a community group.
