The Big Laugh filled The Comedy Store, London with energy, generosity and nonstop humour last week, as our audiences enjoyed an evening of world-class stand-up in support of children and young people living with epilepsy.
The fundraiser brought together a standout comedy line-up, including Omid Djalili, Adam Kay, Jo Enright, Hal Cruttenden, Prince Abdi, Rosie Holt, Samantha Day, Alan Francis and Stephen K Amos all performing to help raise vital funds for Young Epilepsy.
A brilliant line-up, all performing for young people with epilepsy
We are hugely grateful to each and every performer who took to the stage to support us. Their time, talent and generosity helped make this an incredible night full of laughs in aid of Young Epilepsy.
Our performers delivered sharp wit, big laughs and memorable moments throughout the evening.
A special moment for one of our own
Among the guests on the night was Jasmine, a member of our Youth Voice Network, who joined Young Epilepsy’s comedy workshops hosted by Jake Lambert last year. The Big Laugh marked her first time attending a full stand-up night, an experience she described as both exciting and inspiring.
Jasmin spoke about her dream of becoming a stand-up comedian as a young person living with epilepsy, and her ambition to one day perform on a stage like The Comedy Store. Her involvement is a powerful reminder of why events like this matter: they create opportunities, build confidence and open doors for young people to explore new interests and futures.
The Comedy Store team were fantastic hosts, and we were grateful for their support in promoting the gig across social channels.
Thank you
We want to extend a sincere thank you to every performer, every audience member, and every supporter who helped spread the word.
A special acknowledgement to our fantastic volunteers from the Youth Voice Network, Mona and Santa really helped us make this event a success.
Whether you bought a ticket, shared the event, or simply came along for a night of joy and connection, you made a real difference.
Funds raised on the night will support Young Epilepsy’s ongoing work across diagnosis, clinical support, education, wellbeing and youth participation programmes, helping ensure more young people can lead safer, more confident and more connected lives.
