Double your community fundraising this Christmas

You raise it. Together, we can double it.

Your community fundraising could make twice the difference for children and young people living with epilepsy this Christmas. During the Big Give Christmas Challenge, every eligible pound you raise offline and donate through our campaign could be doubled.

Your support can help children and young people with epilepsy feel heard, understood and better supported when they need it most.

From 1 to 8 December 2026, eligible offline fundraising donations given through Young Epilepsy's Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign page could be matched pound for pound, doubling the impact of the money you've raised.

How your donation can help

£100 becomes £200

This could help ensure children and families have somewhere to turn in their moment of crisis.

What is offline fundraising?

Offline fundraising is money you collect directly through an activity, event or donation, rather than through an online fundraising platform such as JustGiving or Enthuse.

Whether you've organised an event, taken on a challenge with friends, or brought colleagues together for a fundraiser, donating the money during the Big Give Christmas Challenge could help it achieve twice the impact.

How to double your fundraising

  • 1

Collect the money from your offline fundraising activity

  • 2

Visit the Young Epilepsy Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign page between 1 and 8 December 2026

  • 3

Donate your fundraising while match funding is available

Easy fundraising ideas

You do not need to organise a big event to make a difference. A simple activity with friends, family, colleagues, your school, club or local community can quickly add up. Donate the money through the Big Give Christmas Challenge and it could be doubled.

Some easy ideas include:

  • Hold a non-uniform, dress-down or dress-up day
  • Organise a sweepstake for a sporting event
  • Organise a cake sale
  • Encourage colleagues to donate the cost of a coffee for a day
  • Run an early festive jumper day
  • Run a lunchtime or evening quiz
  • Hold a “Guess the Sweets in the Jar” competition
  • Run a “Guess the Name” competition
  • Organise a bring-and-buy sale
  • Ask people to donate their spare change
  • Host a coffee morning
  • Host a clothes, book, puzzle or plant swap
  • Hold a simple on the day raffle with donated prizes

Important information

This opportunity is only available for money raised offline and donated through Young Epilepsy's Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign page.

Donations already made through online fundraising platforms such as JustGiving, Enthuse, Facebook Fundraising or other online giving pages cannot be matched through the campaign.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge runs for one week only, from 1 to 8 December 2026, and matching is subject to the availability of match funding. We encourage you to donate as early as possible.

Small actions. Big impact.
