Are you a young person with epilepsy, between the ages of 10 and 16, who lives in the Midlands? Do you want to meet and hang out with other young people at an exciting event?
Look no further than our bowling meet-up in Birmingham on October 29th at 12.00!
You will get to meet other young people who get what it’s like to live with epilepsy, it also will give your parent/carers a chance to chat with others and share their experiences.
No one know how it feels to be a young person with epilepsy apart from those that have it. Doing something fun with others means you get to share your stories and make new friends.
Sometimes, it can feel like epilepsy is taking over your life, so this is a chance to come along and have some fun! Meeting other young people with epilepsy can be the best way to build your confidence, make new friends, and to improve your bowling skills (although it’s taking part that counts!)
While you are bowling your parents and carers have the space relax and to meet each other. Even though we need you have an adult with you, this event is just for you to hang out and have some fun.
If you live in the Midlands and want to come along make sure you register to book your place, make new friends and awesome new memories.

If you can’t make this event, don’t worry! Young Epilepsy has loads of opportunities for you to hang out with other young people.
Our monthly Epilepsy and Me support groups provide a space where you can meet people in your age group to discuss the challenges of epilepsy. You’ll learn new skills and tools from those who get what you are going through.
Our Virtual Youth Groups also meet once a month based on your age group. These are about having fun, playing quizzes and games, without having to worry about your epilepsy. Chat with new friends about your experiences and hobbies without the focus being on your condition!
