My name is Susanna, I’m 24 and have a Masters in Digital Media. I was diagnosed with focal epilepsy at the age of three and my seizures have never been fully controlled. After a difficult year I had VNS surgery last October, it’s made an amazing difference to my control and general independence. I’m hoping to start a career in research and continue using the platforms I have to educate the public and de-stigmatise epilepsy!
