Young Epilepsy is charity of choice for Rontec
As of Monday 18 September 2017, for the next five months Young Epilepsy will be the charity partner for roadside retailer, Rontec.
Rontec is one of the leaders in the UK forecourt industry. They operate over 240 outlets across England and Wales. Founded in 2011, Rontec has its own shop brand Shop ‘N Drive and also owns over 25 Esso and BP petrol stations.
By becoming a charity partner, Young Epilepsy will benefit from optional 25p donations made by drivers and shoppers alike after every card transaction. This partnership will last for five months, with more than £100,000 expected to be raised.
This is made possible by the Pennies scheme. Pennies is a platform which allows retailers to give micro-donations to their charity partners.
Vicki Kennedy, Director of Fundraising and External Relations says:
We are grateful and honoured for Rontec to accept Young Epilepsy as a charity partner, across its 240 petrol stations and service shops in England and Wales. This partnership is vital as it would allow us to represent children and young people with epilepsy to maximum effect.
