St Piers School welcomed to 2012's Get Set network

We’re pleased to announce that St Piers School has been officially welcomed into London’s 2012 Get Set network in recognition of our commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic values.

Each week we are selecting a student that has made a particular achievement in regards to the Olympic or Paralympic values during their sport and leisure or physical educational lessons. The Olympic Student of the Week receives a certificate detailing the particular value and how they achieved it and are also presented with a medal during the weekly school assembly.

Sebastian Coe, Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games said: I am proud to welcome St Piers in to the Get Set network for their exciting work around the Olympic values of friendship, excellence and respect and the Paralympic Values of inspiration, courage, determination and equality.
