60 guests were invited to Number 10 to join her at the reception, including Young Epilepsy President Gerry Acher, Nicholas Owen and Sir Bryan Nicholson, to help increase understanding and support for the 60,000 children and young people living with epilepsy in the UK.
The Camerons first pledged their support for Young Epilepsy in 2006 when the Prime Minister became a vice president for the national charity, having had firsthand experience of the devastating effect the condition can have on young people.
