Young Epilepsy is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.
In this role, you will develop and teach English and Maths accredited and non-accredited programmes of learning and develop Functional Skills programmes of learning across the college. You will also support staff in developing individual learning plans targets for Maths and English, ensuring progress is monitored, and work together with the Personal Tutor in the provision of pastoral care to students.
With a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent post 16 qualification, or a teaching qualification with relevant specialism, you will have experience of planning and delivering learning to post-16 students in a similar SEN environment. An excellent team player, with a willingness to provide personal care to students, you have a flexible approach to your work, great communication skills and the ability to line manage staff.
