About us
Young Epilepsy is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.

Your role
As a Support Worker, you will help to give the students the tools and opportunities they need to fulfil their potential and have the best quality of life possible. You will join a team of established care staff and will be given support and development opportunities.

You will be required to work Monday-Saturday (various shifts available), inclusive of the handover, 21:45pm to 07:00am.  You will also have joint or sole overnight responsibility for the students in your care, ensuring their safety and wellbeing during the night.

Whilst we welcome applications from individuals with experience of working with children or young people, we provide all Support Workers with free, comprehensive training, starting with an in-depth induction.

What we need from you
• Enthusiasm to interact and communicate with a range of young people with differing needs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and a flexible attitude.
• A strong team ethic.
• Desire to undertake training and development.

Whilst we welcome applications from individuals with experience of working with children or young people, it isn’t essential as we provide all Support Workers with comprehensive training.
