We are thrilled to announce that Young Epilepsy will join the line-up of official charity partners of the country’s largest family fundraising festival – CarFest!
The brainchild of Chris Evans, CarFest has been entertaining thousands while raising millions of vital funds for UK Children’s charities for the past 12 years.
Taking place over 3 days, 25-27 August at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire the event promises more than ever with seven interactive festivals in one, including CarFest, MusicFest, StarFest, KidsFest, AdventureFest and SpaFest.
There is truly something for the whole family to enjoy and this year Young Epilepsy will be there over the festival weekend to join in with the fun. Join us on our stand for fun and games for all!
15% from the sale of each ticket will be split among CarFest chosen charities.
A spotlight on CarFest charities takes place this week, as ‘Do More Good Week’ presents the organisations supported and their chosen ambassadors.
Young Epilepsy is proud to work with Olivia, 11 from Stevenage as she bravely shares her story and how Young Epilepsy has helped her.
“Since being diagnosed with epilepsy a charity named Young Epilepsy has helped me through a lot. Young Epilepsy have been helping me by gathering little groups to discuss their different types of epilepsy, how they find it, what their struggles are and other facts about themselves.
''Recently Young Epilepsy set up a Zoom meeting where I met other children with epilepsy. We play games, talk about epilepsy and have a good laugh.''
