Jessica haircut young epilepsy

Help Jessica reach her hair-raising target

When Young Epilepsy hears the word ‘perseverance’ it thinks of wonderful people like Jessica.

Jessica Watson, from Exeter in Devon, is planning to cut her beautiful, long hair to raise funds for Young Epilepsy, but isn’t going to do it until she raises at least £1,000.

Jessica’s determination is admirable. The reason for doing it shows she is nothing short of an inspiration to other young girls with the condition.

Mum Gemma, says:

Jessica has spent the last few months having seizures. After a few stays in hospital and following various tests, she was diagnosed with epilepsy. While in hospital, the staff and support she received was amazing.

Jessica has been an absolute star throughout her diagnosis, being prodded, poked and having various tests. She hasn't had a seizure since starting her new medication, which is great news.

Jessica is an inspiration and I am so proud of her for wanting to do this.

In addition to cutting her hair, Jessica is using it as a wig for a child who lost their's.
