Epilepsy Training Education and Social Care
This one day Childhood Epilepsy course covers the educational, behavioural and psychosocial issues that may accompany this condition.
This study day will be of particular interest to SENCOs, teachers, classroom assistants, support workers, carers, ... carers, social workers and Connexions personal advisors.
During the day the following topics will be delivered either as a talk or within a workshop.

Impact of epilepsy on learning and behaviour
Epilepsy and learning disabilities
Psychosocial aspects of epilepsy
Case studies
Out of the mouths of students
