Volunteering at Young Epilepsy
There are lots of ways you can get involved with supporting us, our current volunteering opportunities include:
- Supporting children and young people in our residential accommodation
- Helping in the classrooms in our School or College
- Driving students on trips out
- Assisting with Fundraising activities and events
- Gardening and horticulture
- Administration support
If there is anything else you would be interested in helping with, just contact us as we will always try and put people’s skills to good use.
There is no set time commitment, for example we have some volunteers who give their time for several hours each week and some who assist with occasional driving jobs or fundraising events. We will always try and work around your own availability wherever possible.
Training and support
For many of our volunteering opportunities, you won’t need any previous qualifications or experience as we provide induction training and support. The main attributes we look for are enthusiasm, commitment and a calm, patient manner.
Work experience and placements
We welcome enquiries from students wishing to gain work experience or undertake placements. For more information please contact Recruitment on 01342 832243 ext 525 or at
