Volunteering with Young Epilepsy – help us change the lives of young people with epilepsy
Thank you for visiting our volunteering pages! We hope this means you’re already keen to donate some of your precious time to help us raise funds and awareness for Young Epilepsy, but just in case you need more convincing, here goes!
Why volunteer with Young Epilepsy
Whatever your background and however much time you can spare, you’ll find that volunteering for Young Epilepsy is rewarding and fun. It’s also a great way to develop your skills and meet new and interesting people.
If you speak to people who already volunteer for a charity, they will probably tell you that they do it because they love it. We think you’ll love volunteering with us – why not give it a try?
What can I do in a few minutes or hours?
Become an Action Team Member.
We know that finding the time to volunteer can be challenging with the pressures of modern life, so Action Teams are a new and exciting way to volunteer around your lifestyle.
As a member of your local Action Team, you will be offered a wide variety of volunteering opportunities - the difference is that you're in control.
You decide which events and activities you want to support, how often you volunteer and you choose whether the time and date suits you.
The additional bonus is that Actions Teams work wherever you live, so no matter where you’re based in the UK, we need Action Teams!
Are you a Christmas Super Star? We are urgently looking for volunteers to help us at a variety of fun and festive Christmas events in the Redhill, Crawley and East Grinstead areas throughout the whole of December. If you can spare any number of hours to help us sparkle this Christmas, get in touch today!
