  • Major Donor Fundraiser

    Job description

    Job title: Major Donor Fundraiser

    Department: Fundraising

    Reports to: Director of Fundraising

    Salary: £40,000 per annum (+ London Weighting if based in Victoria)

    Closing date: 16 March 2012

    Job Purpose

    This is a senior role in which you will be working as part of a highly motivated fundraising team with responsibility for securing major gifts that contribute towards the team’s ambitious target. You will be a confident and enthusiastic team player who can passionately talk about our cause to inspire people and build long term relationships.

    You will be an experienced, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and relationship development skills and a great ability to network. As an individual, you are skilled at listening to people and asking insightful, open questions to identify people's motivations, interests and passions.



  • Locum Consultant Paediatrician (7 PAs)

    Job description

    Job title: Locum Consultant Paediatrician

    Where: Lingfield campus

    Contract: initially for 6 months

    Context

    This is a national centre providing comprehensive care for children and young people with complex epilepsy and neurodisabilities and your role will involve providing medical input to the students, as well as to the assessment and rehabilitation unit.

    Job description

    Job title: Domestic Support Worker (Residential Care)

    Department: Residential Care

    Reports to: House Manager/Asst House Manager

    Salary: £6.51 per hour - Full and Part Time hours

    Closing date: 7 March 2012

    We also have opportunities for experienced domestic workers to provide a domestic service to residential houses. You will ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at all times and assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students.

    Job title: Casual Support Worker

    Department: School, Further Education, Health and Social Care

    Reports to: Line Manager (to be specified according to working environment)

    Salary: £7.53 per hour + shift allowances

    Hours: Shift patterns include a variety of day and evening and night only shifts

    We have opportunities for sensitive and adaptable individuals to join us as Student Support Workers on a casual basis. You will support student development by contributing to their educational, social and developmental curriculum. By working in conjunction with other members of staff in creating a caring, safe and positive atmosphere, you will provide the students with encouragement and reassurance, supporting at all times the long-term aim of student independence and growth.



  • Learning and Development Co-ordinator

    Job Title: Learning and Development Co-ordinator

    Department: Human Resources

    Reports to: Head of Learning and Development

    Salary: £21,364 - £25,022 per annum, 37 hours per week, All Year

    Closing date: 22 February 2012

    Job Purpose

    This post ensures the delivery of quality learning and development opportunities at all levels within Young Epilepsy. The Post holder will support the Head of Learning and Development in the development and delivery of training across all areas of the organisation.

    The post holder will co-ordinate and manage all Learning and Development activities to meet Young Epilepsy’s requirements within agreed budgets. This will include the coordination of external training providers delivering accredited qualifications.
