Our strategy & performance

Our strategy

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We coordinate research that improves diagnosis and treatments. We campaign for children’s rights. We support young people in school and college. We deliver cutting edge health services and provide innovative tools, information, and practical help for living everyday life.

Our vision is to create a society where children and young people with epilepsy are enabled to thrive and fulfil their potential.  A society in which their voices are respected and their ambitions realised. Our strategy for 2020-2024 sets out our approach to making this vision a reality.

Our five-year strategy is directly shaped by the experiences and priorities of children and young people with epilepsy, and is enhanced by our world-leading clinical research partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital and UCL GOS – Institute of Child Health.
